Hello Happy Site Owners! Are you ready for WordPress 3.3? It’s coming soon. Be sure to see the new video posted yesterday on all of the new features in 3.3. I’m using the Beta on the site I use to make the videos and have to tell you that it’s real easy to get used to the changes and hard to go back to the current version. And yes, I’m updating the Video Tutorials library so it will be ready for you when the new version arrives.
This is one super post on Web Marketing Today by Tim Ash on How to Streamline Your Overloaded Homepage. He states, “By emphasizing too many items on a webpage, you destroy visitors’ ability to find key information and paralyze them from making a decision. If you emphasize everything, then nothing will be important.” That’s so spot on.
This plugin does exactly what the title says. Broken Link Checker plugin.
Need to create 301 redirects on your site? Here’s an outstanding plugin that’s easy to use. It’s called Redirection. You’ll also find it in the WordPress repository here. You can configure it for Apache or WordPress redirects. Choose Apache, it just works better and faster, but you will miss seeing stats on how many folks have been redirected. That’s okay, you’ll loose interest after a while anyway.

Social Media Tips
More Google+ tips for you below, but before we jump into those, I have a question for you. I do all of my social media surfing on my iPad and I usually use the normal page view (or desktop) view, which works just fine on Facebook and LinkedIn. And, it was working fine on my G+ personal profile too. But, I can’t access my G+ biz page from either the desktop or mobile view. Have any of you experienced this? Do you know a work-around? I’ve tried various iPad apps, and none of them solve the problem. (The G+ app, and the G-Whizz app) Any suggestions are much appreciated. I’ve sent feedback to Google+ and until they get this fixed, I’ll be mostly MIA on that platform. Darn, and I was eager to get going with it too!
