Tips TuesdayIt’s the first Tuesday in June. Where did May go? It ran by me making that road runner sound – beep beep uuuunnnnngggg. Half the year has nearly passed. Is your site where you want it to be? These weekly tips should help. Enjoy!

News

This is, bar none, the best plugins post ever. The Best (Blonde) WordPress Plug-ins Plugins and I’ll tell you why. It’s not just the plugins list, it’s the format too. I’m taking a tip from The Blonde and doing it her way from now on.

Seems like this ought to debut for summer, don’t you think? Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Hitting Facebook This Fall.

I just finished reading a fantastic book on blogging and will have a review for you soon. This one is certainly going to make it to the Resources page wall, and I’m crazy picky about what shows up there. Look for the review soon.

Tech Tips

Nice guest post by Warren Wooden on ProBlogger with 9 Ways to Better Protect Your Blog.  Note that the first three are backups for different elements. There’s your clue. It really is that important.

David Murton has an excellent post on Stay on Search about how your hosting can affect your SEO. And, you won’t even get the benefit of using the first tip if your hosting is through a reseller account.

Blog Tips

While you’re visiting Stay on Search, jump over to Troy Ireland’s post on 7 reasons why on one is reading your blog.

And, if you don’t know which of these things it is, get a site and/or marketing expert to give you a pro opinion. (Yes, BlogAid does that.)

Hate selling folks? Me too. John Jantsch is running a nice series on Duct Tape Marketing about how to successfully get more conversions without selling. This first installment is by john Connolly titled I Hate Selling, So Now How do I Convert Leads?

Social Media Tips

The title of this post on Simply Zesty is certainly appropriate for me. It’s top tips for running a good Facebook Page (that you might not think about).

I have got to set aside some time to pimp my page and looking forward to digging into more of these tips. Are you using any of them? How are they working for you?

See you online happy site owners!

I will go check out the post about the plug-ins and test them one by one. I could use these kinds of tips any day. My blog looks great, but I can always learn from those experts and use the most updated tips. Thanks, MaAnna!
