MaAnna, thanks for the opportunity to speak with you about digital publishing. I believe it’s important for ALL online entrepreneurs to embrace this form of content marketing and start to make strategic decisions about creating content that builds a powerful presence on the web and attracts the right people to one’s business. We talked about how to quickly get started and I have a post on 13 steps to create your first Kindle ebook. If you would like I can share the link here.
Denise, it was a pleasure. You shared so much great info and I’m already making plans to implement them. Yes!!!! Please do share the step-by-step guide. I know I can put it to use and so will my readers. Thank you so much!!
It’s more like an outline of what you need to do to create your first Kindle ebook:

I had forgotten about Animoto, but after listening to your great chat with Denise, I went there tonight and made a 30-second free video for my husband’s new ebook. Animoto is SO much more advanced than the last time I was there 2 years ago. It offers a direct upload to YouTube, making it all so easy.
(Here’s the link if you’re curious: http://youtu.be/VhS-IDvNMRo. It’s an ebook about overcoming creativity blocks; well worth the price [free!]) Thanks for all the great info and links from this podcast.
Great job on the Animoto video, Laura! Amazing what you can get across in 30 seconds.
Laura, look what you did!!! That’s great. And glad to hear they’ve made a lot of improvements too. I’m going to have to put this on my to-do list for play time ;-)
Definitely fun playtime, MaAnna, especially picking out the music; Animoto has a great music library now. Luckily I had most of the visuals already, from other uses.
Thanks to both you and Denise for the nice feedback, and all the free tips….
Well that’s really great and I appreciate it. Thanks for taking the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love learning more on this topic.
